In 2010 I challenged myself to buying nothing new and it was a challenge indeed, but a wonderful one. Now that 2011 is here I'm going to share with you all that I have learned and hope to learn.

Goodnight Moon

Skippyjon Jones! http://www.skippyjonjones.com/ We loves these books. Eli's favorite one is 'Lost in Spice'. It's so cute.
ReplyDeleteGo, Dog. Go! Oh my...how many times have I read this book? To the point where it has been memorized!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun list! Lots of great classics.
ReplyDeleteWe also love all of the SkippyJon Jones books. We have the accompaning cd's with them. And when the author reads them, I literally laugh through tears throughout the whole thing. Berenstain Bears and Dr. Seuss are very much loved around here! We also love the Little House and Boxcar Children series.
ReplyDeleteOf course none of those would really work for little ones. My youngest is almost 10. I can't even remember really what we read 6 years ago. ha ha!
Amelia Bedelia and anything by Eric Carle. Berenstein Bears too.
ReplyDeletechicka Chicka Boom Boom (or sadly I think that is the name of it). My son loved that book. My daughters favorite at the age of 2, was Are You My Mother?
