What are your favorite books to read... your kids?  Or what are their favorite books?  We've been depleting the children's section at our local library and currently have 30+ books on our "library book table".  I'm looking for your families favorites for ages 2-4 :)

Here is a list of our current favorites:
Bread and jam for Frances
Tikki Tikki Tembo
Duck! Rabbit!
Go Dog. Go!
Hilda must be dancing
Corduroy (any in this series)
Stone soup
Bats at the library
Bob & Otto

  1. Our favorites are:
    The Very Hungry Caterpillar
    Green Eggs and Ham
    10 Apples up on Top
    Hop on Pop
    Goodnight Moon

Pretty much all the classics. ;)

  2. Skippyjon Jones! We loves these books. Eli's favorite one is 'Lost in Spice'. It's so cute.

  3. Go, Dog. Go! Oh many times have I read this book? To the point where it has been memorized!

  4. What a fun list! Lots of great classics.

  5. We also love all of the SkippyJon Jones books. We have the accompaning cd's with them. And when the author reads them, I literally laugh through tears throughout the whole thing. Berenstain Bears and Dr. Seuss are very much loved around here! We also love the Little House and Boxcar Children series.

Of course none of those would really work for little ones. My youngest is almost 10. I can't even remember really what we read 6 years ago. ha ha!

  6. Amelia Bedelia and anything by Eric Carle. Berenstein Bears too.

  7. chicka Chicka Boom Boom (or sadly I think that is the name of it). My son loved that book. My daughters favorite at the age of 2, was Are You My Mother?
